Ivan Behsmann is Donna's guest co-host today. Ivan is known as a co-host of the popular Friday night show called Talking Taboo with Fiona & Ivan on 106.7 Hot FM, and he is also the Station Coordinator at Hot FM community radio station, and just recently a new show The Early Morning Breakfast Show on Tuesday & Thursday with Donna as co-host. Today they chat with a well known colleague, to say thank you and farewell.
Bill Sauer is a well know name and voice in Mildura and Sunraysia.
We call him the Voice of Sunraysia.
He has been a member of Hot FM’s General Committee of SCRA since 2017, and then President since 2020.
Bill’s voice is heard as a presenter on Saturday Morning Sports Show, and he’s also a member of Football Commentary Team on SFNL Match of the Day broadcasts, on Hot FM.
He joined HOT FM in 2007 to maintain local sporting content on air and is still doing so.
Bill was also a tv presenter with WIN TV (sports) for 10 years.
Bill has also been a teacher of English in Victorian Secondary Schools for the past 43 years and is very well respected by many current and past students.
Bill has been an MC for many Sunraysia events and fundraisers over 40 years.
He was awarded an OAM (Order of Australia Medal) in 2013 for Services to the Mildura Community.
Bill will be leaving us, in Mildura to enjoy retirement with family. Thank you & all the best Bill.
